Mardi Gras 08

This is such an awesome year of ministry and we are just in February. I can't wait to see what the Lord does in the other 10 months. I had a great time last week during Mardi Gras. I Thank The Lord for allowing me to be there. The Lord allows me to learn so much every year during Mardi Gras, this year was no different.

This year was a little different. Usually there are no struggles getting to Mardi Gras well this year there was. For those who don't know God blessed us with a baby girl December 22. This was part of the struggle did I really want to leave her for 5 days when I had been away for a week just two weeks prior. That's when I had to give it to God and realize it wasn't about me, it was about whoever God had prepared for me to talk to. I may be there last chance. The night before I was scheduled to leave I started feeling terrible, just rundown and weak and thought there is no way I can do this. It will be to hard being away from home and be sick. What good would I be just lying in bed the whole time, how would God use me in this way. I thought I should call continental and have my ticket refunded. Once again I took authority over the lying devil and claimed the Healing that was given to me by Jesus at the cross. I woke up in the morning full of energy and feeling great.

There was something else that was a different about this year than any other year. My Mom was able to attend. That was great I have never been able to minister on the streets with My Mom before, that was a blessing for me. I pray one day that not only My Mom is there but My Son, Dad, Sister, Brother-in-law , and as soon as my daughter is ready her and My wife are there also.

The time is now to prepare for next year. Quit praying asking God to open doors to allow you to be there. The door is open the Lord is waiting for you to walk through it. I will guarantee that you will never be the same once you attend.
